Helping your child at Home

Our Termly Curriculum Maps for each year group:

Every term parents and carers receive a curriculum map, which provides them with an insight into what their children will be learning in the upcoming term.
Every term parents and carers receive a Home Learning Project, which provides them with an insight into what their children will be learning in the upcoming term.

Homework and Home learning projects for each year group:

  1. Every term parents and carers receive a home learning project sheet, which gives a list of projects for the child to choose from. Please check the homework page to find this term’s Home Learning Projects.
  2. In September 2017, we launched a new online homework tool called IXL. This is to allow children to consolidate their learning at home. Each child is given a login to access the materials. IXL online homework is given weekly. Please check the homework page to find your child’s IXL homework in English and Maths.
  3. Also, children will continue to receive spellings, tables, and reading. So please look in your child’s white reading and spelling book to find out which book your child is reading and the spelling words they must learn for the week.
